Anonymity Model
ConfessMeX does not use accounts and does not store persistent user identities in app tables. Confessions are posted anonymously and are not tied to profile records.
Data Retention
Confessions are intended to expire after 7 days. Under storage pressure, retention can be temporarily shortened by app safety logic (6 to 2 days) to keep the service online.
Data Lifecycle
New confession submitted, then visible in feed, then expires automatically, then removed by cleanup. We keep aggregate counters for operational stats, not personal user profiles.
What We Store
We store confession content, category, optional tags/mentions, card color, created/expiry timestamps, and aggregate metrics. We do not store account passwords because there is no account system.
Honest Limits
Infrastructure providers can still have operational logs outside app tables. We minimize what the app stores, but no internet service can claim absolute zero-trace guarantees at every infrastructure layer.
